I am one of two principals at Enterprise Automation with a 50% stake in the ownership of the company. At EA we place an extraordinary emphasis on training, mentoring, and living up to our core values. It isn’t always easy, however being surrounded by such great talent and being so proud of the work EA produces makes all the risk and hard work worth it. When not working and spending time with my Wife and twin daughters, you’ll find me on a run, swim, or out on my bike pursuing my passion for competitive triathlon and multisports.

At Enterprise Automation I have enjoyed working on a wide range of project tasks, from specification writing to PLC programming to on-site commissioning. In my spare time, I tinker around with my quadcopter and enjoy biking.

After working as a project engineer for two years, I transitioned to the business development team full time, where I now write the majority of our business proposals and assist with special projects. 

I grew up in Orange County and have loved every minute of it. When not working I enjoy the outdoors, traveling, and spending time with my wife, Cathrine, daughter Emilia, and our energetic dog, Harper. Between the work-life balance, drive to be the best, and dedication to do things right the first time, EA has been the perfect fit for me.

Before coming to Enterprise Automation, I worked in both Office and Operations Management. In my personal time I enjoy playing golf, watching movies, and spending time with my family.

I absolutely love the industrial automation industry. I have worked in various technical and sales positions over the past 27 years with several automation manufacturers such as Rockwell Automation, Schneider Electric, Prosoft Technology and Molex. My experience also includes 12 years working in the Air Traffic Control field while serving in the United States Marine Corp as an ATC Radar technician and electronics instructor.

I’m a transplant from the Midwest having moved to Orange County in 1997. When not working, I enjoy traveling with my wife. I’ve been to 46 states, 4 Canadian provinces and 23 countries.

I joined Enterprise Automation as a Controls Engineer fresh out of college. Before EA, I worked in several industries including: mechanical engineering, materials science engineering, software engineering, human resources, graphic design, marketing and consulting. A few of these were internships, while others were the entrepreneurial endeavors that paid for my four years at UC Irvine.

I have been working in the Water/ Wastewater industry for 3 years as a Process Engineer prior to EA. After joining EA, I was surprised to find such a high level of collaboration, attention to detail and accountability in day to day work. This was something that I had not experienced from any company and truly set the bar for how a company should operate. I truly enjoy being a part of the EA team and the great work culture that comes along with it. 

Prior to becoming an engineer I was an Action Sports Coach at Woodward. I enjoy spending my free time snowboarding, rock climbing and on motorsports.

Work experiences have included a number of waste to energy and process industry related construction contracts and projects. The bulk of my experience within industrial automation is in integrating process control systems into mechanical systems, and in understanding of process instrumentation, controls components and process strategies.

I grew up just outside of Davis, CA. I am a huge football fan, Green Bay Packers fan specifically, and I genuinely take interest in computer hardware and PC building.

My previous experience includes being a Project Manager at a large automation integrator in Michigan, as well as an Aircraft Maintenance officer in the US Air Force in multiple parts of the US and overseas.

Outside of work, my wife and I are enjoying being new parents, rediscovering all that Southern California has to offer after living out of state for the better part of two decades, and continuing to travel and explore.

I was unsure of what field to enter after graduation, but I gravitated strongly towards EA because of the incredible dichotomy EA presents: it has a culture that accepts nothing but perfection, yet still knows how to have fun. When I’m not working, I like to play instruments (piano, guitar, and clarinet) and exercise (running, lifting, biking, basketball). I grew up in San Diego and I have spent my entire life in Southern California.
