By design, the EA team is assembled of like-minded people who enjoy spending time with each other. Our 1-on-1 mentorship program is meant to grease the wheels and foster these genuine connections between new hires and experienced mentors who serve as company culture ambassadors.

This program helps mentees grow both in their skills and as individuals while rewarding mentors with the experience of developing their leadership and coaching skills.

why work mentorship

We are proud of the fact that we hire top performers and put them in an environment where they grow to their fullest potential. We give our employees autonomy, empower them with opportunities to take on additional responsibility, and provide clear performance expectations.

As a company tradition, all employees give a Master’s Presentation as part of the promotion process. These presentations cover a wide range of topics from graphic design principles to learning strategies to ultrafiltration automation. The presentation is a milestone event for these individuals to show expertise in their field and transfer knowledge to the rest of the team.

As an office first workplace, we cultivate and maintain a high-trust culture because employees can be expected to manage their time effectively. Core office hours are between 8AM and 6PM in regional time zones.

With that in mind, employees also have some flexibility in start and end times and the breathing room to take the doctor’s appointment or enjoy a longer lunch to play volleyball. We remain an office first workplace but alternative hybrid or remote arrangements remain an open conversation among employees, supervisors, and leadership. EA aims to provide employees flexibility whenever possible.

We believe the achievement of excellence is only possible when employees have the bandwidth to thrive inside and outside the workplace. An environment of burnout and overwork would be a threat to our clients and employees that we proactively try to avoid.

On average, staff log approximately 43 hours per week. Heavier weeks can occur when there is a need for travel, project deployment, or emergency support.

Our policies promote rest and recovery, prioritizing the sustainability of our staff’s high performance and positive outlook.

Whether through EA-sponsored sports events and pickup games, employees enjoy plenty of opportunities to move and get active. Employees at the Irvine office can hit the in-office gym or attend the twice-weekly group fitness class.

The EA team enjoys spending time together, so we create lots of opportunities for them to connect outside the office.

Our employee appreciation dinner is a yearly highlight. To show our gratitude to employees, EA holds a special evening for employees and their plus-ones to celebrate and connect with their colleagues. In the summers, EA also hosts a company picnic for employees and their families to enjoy a day of activities, games, and food.
