Six budding athletes from the Enterprise team braved the waters and hills of the Orange County Triathlon and Duathlon. Angel Vasquez, Bill Brown, Carlos Penner, Chris Schleich, Derrick Malcolm, and Scott Pickford formed three teams to challenge the 1-mile swim, 26-mile bike, and 6.2-mile run. Conditions were perfect for racing as each athlete chased their own personal goals. These endeavors do take a toll on the body, however, which was more than compensated for during the post-race feast at the Original Pancake House. Our next team race is the Pacific Coast Triathlon in September.
