Enterprise Automation successfully cutover the SRWRF legacy SCADA system from various PC hardware throughout the plant to a new virtualized central SCADA platform with thin clients. Startup efforts also included rollout of revised PLC programs for improved redundancy performance failover.
EA personnel developed cutover plans in office, incorporating input from RCWD SRWRF maintenance and operations personnel. The cutover process was rehearsed with EA’s virtualized SRWRF SCADA test platform. Cutover dry runs and adjustments to the script yielded a cutover procedure that guided EA startup staff and RCWD personnel to a near perfect cutover onsite.
