EA’s President, Scott Pickford, recently had the honor of speaking on the Onboarding the Next Generation of Leaders panel at the the 2019 Control System Integrators Association (CSIA) Executive Conference. He was joined on stage by DMC Inc. President Frank Riordan and Avid Solutions President PC Romano. In addition, the panel was moderated by EA’s Engineering Manager, Chris Schleich.
The CSIA is a professional association that promotes the advancement of the control system integration industry. CSIA’s main goal is to improve its members’ businesses, create a forum for industry experts to share their experience, and promotes the benefits of hiring control system integrators through their rigorous certification process. This year’s Annual Executive conference took place in Asheville, NC from April 30th to May 3rd 2019.
Scott’s role on the panel was to discuss leadership development. In particular, he shared stories about his professional growth, how EA’s management creates a unique company culture, and how he develops new talent to take on leadership positions. The audience enjoyed the panelist’s stories of company transformation and hearing about actions they’ve taken to drive change within the industry.
